Top Rank in Macau: Brian Viloria, Zou Shiming, Milan Melindo, Vanes Martirosyan part of April 6 card www.badlefthook.com/2013/2/5/3956138/top-rank-macau-brian-viloria-zou-shiming-milan-melindo-vanes-martirosyan-april-6Top Rank will be making their long-discussed debut in Macau with a professional boxing card on April 6 featuring top flyweight Brian Viloria, two-time Chinese Olympic gold medalist Zou Shiming's pro debut, and more. Bob Arum has been talking about putting on a big fight card in Macau for years now, and on April 6, he's finally going to do it. Bolstered by the recent signing of two-time Chinese Olympic gold medalist Zou Shiming, Top Rank have started to put together what could be a very interesting card. Shiming's pro debut will be part of the event, which is to be headlined by Brian Viloria defending his WBA and WBO flyweight titles against Mexico's Juan Francisco Estrada. It's not the best fight for Viloria, but this is more an experimental event, and Estrada did give Roman Gonzalez hell in his last fight, a 12-round loss with great action. Milan Melindo, Viloria's WBO mandatory, is also expected to be in action, as is Vanes Martirosyan, who may face Argentina's Javier Maciel, who fights this weekend. The show should do well, most likely, as there's expected to be large interest in Shiming's career in China. It's definitely something different, and could open a large new market if all really goes well.
